Long time no speak!!

Well its been a while. I've been out on a plateau for the last little bit. I'm hoping to jump off it soon. I joined #GoodLifeFitness and I'm hoping this helps me out. I've been trained in how to use the 20 minute full body workout so I'm pumped (pun intended) to do it. It's not as grueling as I first thought it would be. I'm enjoying the gym (did I just say that??)

It's snowing so bad here right now we are going to close early!!  I'll go to the gym in my plaza tonight. First time to this location!!

I've been seeing a new Dr at the Poon clinic. Me and the old one weren't working out. She's way more encouraging and less judgemental!!

Ok off I go to Poon on!

2 weeks shy of 6 months

Well, almost 6 months in and I'm down 90 lbs.!!!  I can't believe it!!  I'm so excited!!  10 lbs. away from my 1st personal goal and ahead of schedule by 9 months!!  I've been sticking mostly to Phase One with adding a few carbs in.

I had to have emergency surgery two weeks ago, a hernia repair, so I've been on the mend.  They had to cut out a small piece of fat and then tuck my bowel back up and sew me in!!  EWWWWW!!  Now that that's fixed, I'll be starting my exercises!!  I hate it but its got to be done!!!  I ordered my FitBit Flex and I can't wait to use it!!

First Blog

Well I've decided to start a blog.  A blog about my trials and tribulations about trying to lose 100lbs before my 40th birthday!

I started the Dr Poon Clinic on December 6, 2012. I have currently lost 32.8lbs.  I can feel a difference!!  My clothes fit WAY better, I've even pulled out things I was gonna send to Good Will because they didn't fit me anymore!!

I've been given the go ahead to move on to Phase Two but I'm doing "Phase 1.5" lol.  I'm just adding in a few of the allowed items from Phase Two.  I've been doing so well I don't want to slow down the process!!

I do find it hard at times but for the most part, I've been OK.  Night time is still the hardest part of the day for me.  For a snack at night I peel a cucumber, chop it up add Canola oil, vinegar and hot sauce!!  Its not chips but I love it!!

I miss the carbs, yes, but I get pretty creative for my dishes!!  Mushrooms are my staple!  I use the large caps for "pizza" or tonight it held shredded chicken, red peppers and Allegro Ricotta cheese, topped with the Spicy Low Carb Tomato sauce I bought from the Poon store.
